Bundles are banded with wire rod, 6-7mm in diameter, in at least four locations per bundle. Bundle weight: up to 5 tones. Each bundle is labeled with two identical plastic tags that specify the following data:company's logo; standards, specifications and regulations No.; heat No.; steel grade; dimension; weight; batch No.; crew No.; date of manufacture.

Labeling and packaging conforms to GOST 7566-94.

One end of each bar, 32 to 50mm in diameter, bears a hot-stamped four-digit heat number.
One end of each bar, 50 to 120mm in diameter, bears a hot-stamped four-digit heat number and steel grade.One end of each bar, 130 to 300mm in diameter, bears a hot-stamped plant's mark, syphon, crew letter symbol, four-digit heat number and steel grade.

If required, bars can also be colour-marked.

Each bundle is labeled with metallic or plastic tags that bear the following data stamped on them:
