Nadezhdinski Metallurgical Plant
The Nadezhdinski Metallurgical Plant management is conscious of significance of the environmental impact from the plant's production processes and abides by the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company corporate policy to consistently reduce and prevent adverse environmental impacts.
Our plant has been monitoring environmental impacts from our production processes since 1973, when an in-house sanitary & technical laboratory was established.
Currently, we have our Environmental Monitoring Service which is in charge of all the plant's environmental activities.
The preparation of the plant's Environmental Management System (EMS) for certification to verify compliance with the ISO 14001:2004 international standard requirements started in 2006.
In March 2007, the company's director approved the Environmental Policy Revision 01.
In March 2016, the company's CEO approved the new revision of the Environmental Policy. In order to implement it, our company abides by the following PRINCIPLES:
During 1Q 2008, our plant successfully passed an environmental management system certification audit to verify compliance with the ISO14001 international standard requirements and received the respective certificate.
The efficiency of our environmental management is verified on an annual basis by surveillance and recertification audits.
In March 2016, after our plant was renamed, we received a new certificate for the EMS compliance with the ISO 14001:2004 international standard requirements.
In 2015, our environmental monitoring service received new certificate RA.RU 21CP02 from the national accreditation system that confirms our compliance with the GOST R ISO/IEC 17025 requirements and the accreditation criteria.
